Why Finley Physical Therapy?

While FPT has made its name training and rehabbing athletes, the same world-class service, provided by our physical therapists is available for high school, collegiate, and amateur athletes as well as everyday people looking to bounce back from injury or surgery in the most efficient and effective manner.

Physical therapy is available as an individual service or part of an integrated performance program that includes training for balance, improved mobility and relief of painful conditions including disc herniation, osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendinitis and a host of musculoskeletal disorders.

Direct Contact

We offer direct contact patient treatment that most physical therapy centers do not offer. This means that your physical therapist will be with you during your entire treatment visit. Many PT centers have their therapists work with 2 or 3 patients at one time. Direct contact patient treatment allows us to watch every repetition of every exercise to ensure that they are performed correctly and without pain. Direct and CAREFUL OBSERVATION allows us to make the sometimes subtle or slight changes that often make a big difference in the effectiveness of your exercise.

Manual therapy

Our physical therapists are Manual Therapy certified. This is a form of highly specialized training that is required above and beyond the normal PT degree course work. Manual Therapy certification takes years of training under the supervision of the Country's (and sometimes world’s) best physical therapists, chiropractors and osteopathic physicians. Manual therapy techniques can speed healing, reduce pain both during and after treatment and restore range of motion and flexibility much faster than exercise-only techniques. Combined with our specialized training in Trigger Point Dry Needling your healing and recovery from pain and injury will happen at a much faster rate than traditional therapy offered at other centers.

Quality Rehabilitation

Because of our specialized training and direct patient contact your results will happen much quicker and with less patient discomfort. We have been able to prevent a large number of surgeries and help people return to fitness programs to optimize their health and weight loss. In fact our goal is for every patient to be more active and in better physical health than when they start their rehab with us. Our training includes Functional Movement Systems training, MovNat level 2 certification and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certifications.

Specialized Training for Athletes

While FPT has made its name training and rehabbing athletes, the same world-class service, provided by our physical therapists is available for high school, collegiate, and amateur athletes as well as everyday people looking to bounce back from injury or surgery in the most efficient and effective manner.

It takes a thorough understanding of the demands of a sport and how to prepare an athlete for return to those sport demands. Having PT's that played collegiate sports at the division 1 level we understand sports and the process of safely getting an athlete back to their practice and game activities.
